Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
- Monitor patient behavior and report any significant changes to the healthcare team.
- Provide emotional support and engage patients in therapeutic activities.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Participate in treatment planning and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement care strategies.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with facility policies.
- Facilitate group therapy sessions and assist in recreational activities designed to enhance social skills.
Skills
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage challenging behaviors with empathy and professionalism.
- Knowledge of psychiatric disorders and treatment modalities is preferred.
