SUMMARY
A Level Machinist operates level machinery: Lathe, drill press, saw, CNC milling and reads blue prints and drawings.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or GED
- 6 – 12 months related experience and/or training
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS STATEMENT
- Operate lathe, drill press, saw, and CNC milling machines.
- Machine components, i.e., center section, weld caps, nipples, flat cap, flanges.
- Read blue prints and follow ISO procedure
- Work within .062 or closer tolerances
- Sharpen tooling
- Mix coolant
- Inventory reordering
- Adhere to guidelines and procedures proscribed by ISO 9001
- All other functions/responsibilities assigned by the manager.
- Maintains cooperative working relationship with company employees.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Read calipers, micrometers, and tape measure
- Ability to read drawings.
- Basic Math: add, subtract, divide, multiply, decimals, fractions, and metric conversions.
