What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender position at Soundgrowler Brewing Co.?
Soundgrowler Brewing Co. is in search for a bartender to help us with upcoming events. This position is part time, we have roughly 5 events per month. We are located at 8201 183rd St, Suite P in Tinley Park, IL. Our ideal candidate is attentive, punctual, positive and hard working.
Responsibilities
- Pour beer and non-alcoholic drinks
- Interact with customers, take orders and serve food and drinks
- Assess customer preferences and make recommendations
- Check customer's identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Follow opening/closing cleaning schedule
Qualifications
- Proven working experience as a bartender
- Weekend availability
- Excellent knowledge of craft beer
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
- Ability to lift and move kegs
- Bassett certification and Certified Beer Server by 90 days
