Job Description
We are seeking an SAP Product Costing Lead with deep expertise in SAP CO (Controlling) to lead key initiatives for a high-impact client engagement. The ideal candidate will bring a strategic mindset, strong consulting experience, and the ability to drive business value through technology. This is a client-facing leadership role focused on guiding complex implementations and mentoring teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Core Responsibilities
Lead Discovery & Design: Drive early-stage project phases, lead workshops, gather business requirements, and architect scalable SAP CO-PC solutions.
Client Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact with clients, manage expectations, and provide strategic guidance.
Solution Design & Delivery: Configure and implement SAP Product Costing (CO-PC) solutions with a strong focus on integration with FI, MM, and PP modules.
Team Leadership: Mentor junior consultants, lead cross-functional teams, and provide direction across workstreams.
Business Value Focus: Translate technical solutions into business outcomes (cost savings, process improvement, value delivery).
Integration Expertise: Ensure cohesive SAP design by aligning CO-PC solutions with broader SAP landscapes.
Must-Have Skills (8 Years)
SAP CO Product Cost Controlling (CO-PC): Deep functional and technical knowledge.
Discovery & Requirements Gathering: Strong experience leading project kickoffs and early-phase strategy sessions.
Client-Facing Delivery: Excellent interpersonal skills and comfort in high-stakes client interactions.
Big 4 / Tier 1 Consulting Background: Proven consulting experience (Deloitte, PwC, EY, Accenture, IBM, etc.).
Leadership: Demonstrated success leading teams and mentoring staff in complex environments.
Business Acumen: Ability to align SAP design with business objectives. Familiar with "Value Architecture" and "Business Design" concepts.
Exceptional Communication: Skilled at simplifying technical topics for business stakeholders and facilitating collaborative sessions.
Integration Knowledge: Familiarity with SAP FI, MM, PP integrations.
Bonus Points
Industry Experience: Previous work in the beverage or CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) industry.
SAP S/4HANA Exposure: Especially in CO-PC in S/4 environments.
