Key Responsibilities:
- Review and evaluate patients' medical records
- Prepare patients for procedures, including administration of oral sedation or anesthesia
- Diagnose dental issues through examination, X-rays, and other diagnostic tools
- Perform routine cleanings and plaque removal
- Identify and treat tooth decay with fillings
- Design and fit crowns, bridges, dentures, and other dental prosthetics
- Conduct tooth extractions, root canals, and minor oral surgeries
- Apply whitening treatments and other cosmetic procedures
- Presume medications as necessary
- Educate patients on proper brushing, flossing, and preventive care
