We are searching for an experienced VP of Marketing for a multi-unit, multi-brand restaurant and hospitality group based in Chicago, IL.
Responsibilities
- Accountable for driving the brands, positioning, and architecture of communication and marketing programs across all channels - digital, in-store, influencer / social media, and more.
- Leads strategic development of brand marketing plan to increase brand relevance, drive profitable sales, increase visitation, and create interest / excitement for the brand.
- Develops long range brand goals and objectives for all markets.
- Leads development of analysis of marketing programs and adjusts strategy and tactics to increase effectiveness.
- Monitors and analyzes performance of marketing initiatives for continual optimization.
- Provides strategic direction and maintains execution cadence for key national agencies.
- Direct day-to-day marketing functions including marketing collateral development; email campaign and website management.
- Manage full scale social media campaigns for all brands, throughout all platforms including but not limited to Tik Tok, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.
- Review reporting to gauge effectiveness of social media strategy.
- Manage marketing budget for corporate and all properties; present marketing initiatives and costs at profit and loss meetings.
- Create brand-building programs including monthly / quarterly / annual promotions, sponsorship media events, offsite chef tasting events & more.
- Lead graphic design department on promotional material such as invitations, email marketing design, web collateral, social media content, menu design, website & newsletter graphics, etc.
- Develop creative strategies, events, and unique approaches in order to target press opportunities.
- Write creative and engaging press releases, pitches, and media alerts across all brands.
- Manage special events and logistics for partnered media opportunities & venue launch parties.
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of local national market dynamics such as forecasted trends, competitive threats, and local happenings in the area such as high-profile appearances, festivals, music concerts & more.
- Collaborate with other executive leadership team members and ownership on short and long term general organization strategy.
