What are the responsibilities and job description for the HS TLC Committee-SEL/Climate/Culture Committee position at South Central Calhoun CSD?

SEL/Climate/Culture Committee

(Embedded in this committee and in all committees will be the responsibilities of finding ways to make community connections and celebrating student and staff achievements.)

This committee will meet at a minimum of once a month and will plan opportunities for staff in but not limited to the following:

Using the data, create an action plan at the building level to support these needs
- (Conditions for Learning Survey, student focus groups, staff surveys, student surveys, etc)
Plan and gather pertinent data to check on student and staff morale (as listed above)
Plan and organize staff culture and team building activities at least monthly
Plan and organized student team building activities monthly to be used during TTime
Organize the Community Service Day
Find ways to celebrate students and staff
Works collaboratively with student organizations for student voice to be heard

Using the data, create an action plan at the building level to support these needs
Initiate training opportunities for staff, and parents
Help make decisions on Professional Development based on building and district data geared towards SEL

Staffing needs:

(1) Team Leaders- $1000- set meeting times, write the agendas, and conduct the meetings.

(2) Committee Members $500/ea.- participate in all meetings, help create necessary artifacts (if any) and assist with the planning of PD
