Ophthalmic Scribe
A reputable group of Ophthalmologists based in Broward County is seeking a pro-active, detail oriented Ophthalmic Scribe to assist our Ophthalmologists and Technicians in our Plantation office.
This position offers great training and growth for the right candidate!
Duties and responsibilities for this unique opportunity include but are not limited to:
· Assist physician in transcribing the patient history and physical exam, and document the physician’s encounter with the patient using NextGen EHR
· List all diagnostics, symptoms, follow up instructions and prescription as dictated by the physician
· Transcribe all patient orders including tests and medications
· Document all procedures performed by the physician
· Help with clerical duties
Minimum Qualifications:
· At least 6 months of previous Medical Scribing experience (Ophthalmology a plus)
· Strong English written and verbal communication skills.
· Professional demeanor with a personable attitude.
· Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a high volume environment.
· Organization skills and attention to details.
