Position Summary: The Sanitizer Room Floor Hand is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in the sanitizer room. This role involves handling and operating sanitation equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and hygiene regulations, and contributing to a clean and safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Sanitation and Cleaning:
- Clean and sanitize floors, walls, and equipment in the sanitizer room.
- Operate sanitation equipment such as pressure washers, steam cleaners, and chemical dispensers.
- Ensure all sanitation procedures are followed according to company standards and regulatory requirements.
Equipment Handling:
- Set up, operate, and maintain sanitation equipment.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the supervisor.
- Ensure proper use and storage of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Comply with all regulatory and company-specific sanitation standards.
Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate records of cleaning schedules, chemical usage, and sanitation activities.
- Complete required documentation and reports in a timely manner.
Team Collaboration:
- Work collaboratively with other sanitation team members and production staff.
- Assist in training new employees on sanitation procedures and safety practices.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding sanitation needs and issues.
Additional Duties:
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- Assist in other areas of the facility as needed.
Qualifications:
- Skills:
- Knowledge of sanitation procedures and equipment.
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery and handle chemicals safely.

- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) as needed.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
