Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Marketing Manager to join our arts-focused non-profit organization on a flexible part-time schedule. The Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies to promote our arts programs, exhibits, classes, and events, as well as to raise awareness, engage supporters, and drive donations for our cause. This role requires a creative thinker with a passion for social impact and the ability to effectively communicate our mission to diverse audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute marketing plans to promote our organization's mission, exhibits, classes, programs, and fundraising initiatives.
  • Create compelling content for various channels including website, social media, email campaigns, press releases, and print materials.
  • Manage dynamic website with daily/weekly updates regarding events, classes, programs and organizational content.
  • Manage social media accounts, engaging with followers, and creating innovative campaigns to increase our online presence, class enrollment, exhibit & program attendance, and supporter engagement.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure marketing efforts align with organizational goals and messaging - including our related organization via our management agreement, the Northwest Indiana Symphony Society.
  • Manage the design and production of our quarterly "Convergence" magazine used to promote our organization and programming to our communities.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential partnerships that will enhance our reach and impact.
  • Analyze marketing metrics and data to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Cultivate relationships with media outlets, influencers, and community partners to amplify our message and increase visibility.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in non-profit marketing, incorporating new strategies and technologies to continuously improve our marketing efforts.
  • Manage marketing budget effectively, ensuring resources are allocated strategically to maximize impact and ROI.
  • Represent the organization at events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote our mission and expand our network of supporters.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing, with a proven track record of success in non-profit or cause-driven marketing.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messaging for different audiences.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms including social media management, email marketing, and website CMS.
  • Experience with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

  • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills, able to collaborate effectively with colleagues and external partners.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
