The HR Generalist is vital in supporting our employees and ensuring seamless HR operations at South Sound Behavioral Hospital. We seek an energetic, creative thinker who thrives in a fast-paced hospital environment and is passionate about employee engagement and providing exceptional HR support. This position reports directly to the HR Director and offers a dynamic opportunity to make a meaningful impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with recruitment efforts, including job postings and hiring process management.
- Conduct employee onboarding & offboarding, including background checks, benefits enrollment, and related paperwork.
- Maintain accurate personnel records and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits, payroll, policies, and procedures.
- Support leadership with employee relations matters and compliance initiatives.
- Assist with organizing employee engagement activities and training sessions.
Your Experience Matters What we’re looking for:
- Education: A bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of HR experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Additional Skill Requirements:
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Paycom experience is preferred.

Compensation:
