**ABOUT THE ROLE**
The Principal, Training - Operational Readiness is responsible for the
identification and implementation of internal / external training
programs designed to equip our operations, construction and contractor
teams with the knowledge and skills required for the safe execution of
their roles. This role is designed to ensure the teams have clear and
consistent understanding on safety requirements, global requirements and
Any Other Task-based Requirements And Will Coordinate The Implementation
of training solutions in alignment with the Human Resources team which
oversees our training standard and scheme governance. This role is based
at the Hermosa project site, near Patagonia, Arizona.

Other Key Responsibilities Include, But Arent Limited To
- Manage Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) training relationships
- Support a unified safety culture and developing employee
capabilities and competencies to support the delivery of the South32
safety guarantee
- Ensure that our employees have a positive learning experience that
leads to measurable learning outcomes
- Coordinate internal onboarding and task-based training programs for
the teams.
- Support leaders in identifying solutions to the teams progress
training requirements
- Organize a process with leaders where delivery of ad-hoc training
requirements can be achieved to ensure success of the project and
operation
- Conduct training needs assessments and identify short-term and
medium-term training solutions both internally and externally
- Ensure training aligns with the South32 Training Standard and the
Hermosa Training
- Scheme by partnering with HR and executing accountabilities as
specified in the training development and implementation process,
including content reviews and testing of new courses.
- Conduct field engagements to stay current with field practices,
industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Administer the learning management system for employees, including
maintaining training calendars, ensuring training compliance, and
keeping accurate and complete training records.
- Interface with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) training
personnel to collect and systematize their training materials and
plans.
- Coordinate with Human Resources to transform OEM training programs
into internal programs that meet the requirements of the South32
Training Standard andHermosa Training Scheme.
- Ensure that the training solutions are created and deployed in
alignment with the South32 Training Standard and the Hermosa
Training Scheme.
Salary : $90,000 - $120,000
