Fall PR Intern with a focus on Social Media

Location: Remote, NY/NJ preferred

Hours: Part-time, 20 hours per week

Duration: Fall Semester (September–December)

What You’ll Do

• Support day-to-day PR activities, including drafting pitches, compiling media lists, and tracking press coverage
• Research media contacts, influencers, and relevant opportunities for clients
• Help develop creative campaign ideas, press angles, and social content
• Draft and schedule social media posts, stories, and captions for various platforms
• Monitor trends, hashtags, and competitor activity to inform PR and social strategies
• Assist with reporting and analytics for PR and social campaigns
• Engage with social media audiences and help grow client communities
• Contribute to brainstorming sessions and support administrative needs

What We’re Looking For

• Passion for PR, media, and social media
• Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills
• Familiarity with major social media platforms and emerging trends
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Creative thinker who’s proactive and eager to learn
• Experience with Canva, Photoshop, or social scheduling tools is a plus (but not required)
