Description
We are seeking a passionate Corporate Accountant for our Delray Beach, FL Headquarters. The accountant is responsible for preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports. Responsibilities also include analyzing trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses. The accountant will have a desire to drive results while playing a key role in creating a world-class accounting organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the management of the general ledger through month and year end close
- Perform monthly balance sheet and income statement variance analyses
- Review AP postings for PPDs, accruals, and prepare monthly recurring JE's as needed
- Assists with preparing forecasts and annual budgets for BS, CF and P&L
- Oversee multiple entities and reconcile intercompany transactions
- Support special projects and implementations aimed at improving operational efficienciea
- Manage accounts payable responsibilities. Includes requesting outgoing wire transfer payments as needed.
- Manage queries including responding to all vendor and in-house accounting questions
- Records numerical and financial data to produce financial records.
- Ensures financial data is entered correctly and accurately.
- Enters journal entries to debit and credit the company’s accounts.
- Generates accounting and audit reports for cash receipts, accounts payable and receivable, expenditures, and profits and losses.
- Reconciles and reports differences or issues found in financial records.
- Maintain electronic and physical filing for finance, operations, and HR related data.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 5 years of relevant work experience
- Proficient in QuickBooks or similar accounting software
- Experience with intercompany transactions
- Experience in health care industry is preferred
Skills:
- Knowledge of accounting and financial reporting
- Advanced Excel with hands on experience in VLOOKUP, pivot tables and “if” statements.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
Schedule: Mondays – Fridays 8:00am – 4:00pm Job Classification: Salaried Exempt

Physical Requirements:
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
