Installation Manager

Southeast Floors is currently looking for an Installation Manager for our branch in Savannah, GA!

Job Summary and Position Objective: This position works with Branch Management and installation staff to provide an exceptional experience to our customers. The Installation Manager ensures that all installers are properly scheduled for jobs/projects in order to execute their tasks efficiently and in a timely manner.

Essential Functions:

• Oversees and manages the (subcontractor) installation crew each day from start to finish
• Help manage overall operations and operations staff of the warehouse
• Understand & execute morning load-out in Warehouse Manager absence, progress of installation crews throughout the day, and quickly and methodically problem solves any arising issues
• Verifies loaded quantities and styles when applicable
• Communicates all relevant and correct information to warehouse staff to avoid confusion or delay with each project
• Must operate a company vehicle throughout the day to deliver materials to installation crews and observe active installations
• Must be accessible by company phone while subcontractors are in the field to facilitate emergencies or reasonable questions or concerns from installation crew
• Must use, manage, and follow-up with all installations and subcontractors via installer application
• Hold subcontractors accountable to using installer application correctly and efficiently
• Ability to assist the other locations with emergencies or installers, as needed
• Coordinates and communicates with other Installation Managers, Branch Managers, and/or sales staff
• Responsible for warehouse cleanliness and organization after load-out
• Responsible for verifying live installations as well as post installation quality
• Collaborate with QC to identify and address quality trends, recognize outstanding work, and address sub-par work or underperforming crews
• Find, hire, and train new sub-contractors to keep pace with the needs of the operation
• Create and keep a list of sub-contractors not currently working for the company that can be called when needed
• Release underperforming subcontractors that have performance or behavioral issues
• Host monthly subcontractor meetings to review changes, recognize installers, and communicate any pertinent information

Physical Requirements:

• Be able to sit, stand, walk, or drive for up 8 hours per shift
• Must be able to use stairs on a daily basis without assistance
• Flexible and long work hours sometimes required
• Be able to lift, push, and pull items weighing up to 80 lbs
• Must be able to bend, squat, twist, and reach for supplies

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Customer service: 2 years (Required)
• Installation, Flooring, or Maintenance: 3 years (Preferred)
• Management: 2 years (Preferred)

Language:

• English (Required)
• Spanish (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
• Forklift Certification (Preferred)
