Overview
SCCI is seeking a Program Analyst to join our team! The successful candidate will have experience in acquisitions and will directly support a diversity of acquisition tasking, technical writing, market research, supply chain trouble shooting, and provide exemplary customer service to the customer. This position is located in Dahlgren, VA.
This job requires up to 5% travel annually.
Responsibilities:
- Manage procurements from beginning to end to ensure timely order and delivery
- Create and track orders in required database systems
- Gather market research data and technical data from vendors for government customers to create proper and accurate acquisition packages
- Types of acquisition requirement packages are at the purchase card, MILSTRIP, and Simplified Acquisition Process (SAP)
- Assist in development of new processes and procedures to include updating existing processes and procedures
- Develop PowerPoint presentations and Excel data sheets as required
- Organize and maintain acquisition information
- Pull reports from IBPES, and post to central Acquisition SharePoint site
- Ensure all government protocols are followed for procurement
- Includes gaining all special approvals for procurement
- Trouble shoot issues with orders
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain an active Secret Security Clearance
- High School Diploma
- Three (3) years of Logistics Support, Acquisition Support or related experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Excel and Project
- Ability to work independently and on a team
- Ability to communicate with other organizations within the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD)
- Excellent writing and organization skills
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Experience with Navy Enterprise Resource Planning systems (ERP)
- Experience with Statement of Work (SOW) development
