We are seeking an SAP Signavio Process Architect - ERP Modernization at Southern California Edison (SCE) to help us build a better tomorrow as part of our NextGen team. The NextGen ERP program will span the next 4 years leveraging emerging digital solutions in concert with re-imagining and transforming our current processes and organization to make dramatic improvements to operational performance, as many companies are doing across industries. We are looking at an approach that not only upgrades the systems but also transforms our business processes to enhance efficiency, improve data quality, and provide better integrated decision making across the enterprise. We are currently in the implementation phase of a major ERP transformation program, leveraging a hybrid agile approach to motivate change. This effort goes beyond a system upgrade, it’s a fundamental redesign of our core operating and financial processes. Our goal is to streamline operations, enhance data accuracy, and enable integrated, enterprise-wide decision-making.

Key Focus Area: Process Architecture & Design

• Define and maintain enterprise-level process architecture using SAP Signavio.
• Contribute functional Work Management and Asset Management specific expertise
• Ensure alignment of business processes with organizational goals and industry best practices.
• Drive process harmonization and standardization initiatives across business units.
• Collaborate with enterprise architects, business analysts, and IT teams to support digital transformation efforts.
• Leverage Signavio Process Intelligence to analyze process performance and identify inefficiencies.
• Align functional processes with data models and business capabilities.
• Facilitate workshops and interviews to gather process requirements from business stakeholders.
• Collaborate with functional leaders to identify process improvement opportunities.
• Act as a Signavio champion, promoting adoption and best practices across the organization.
  
  

Responsibilities

• Defines architecture blueprint for end-to-end systems including integration of applications systems, platforms and technical infrastructure at the portfolio and solutions architecture levels.
• Carries out the intake scoping of solution concepts and initial cost estimation system architecture definition at the logical level
• Proactively seeks solutions and deploys recommendations to resolve architectural problems related to any IT domain, including Business, Apps, Data, Security, Server, Networks or Storage
• Aligns with Business and Systems Analysts to understand the business requirements and create the corresponding blueprint for implementing various technology components of a new system
• Leads to the solution strategy and architecture including identification of core components necessary to meet functional requirements and desired systems characteristics
• Ties architectural vision together across portfolios and major business initiatives programs
• Manages the design and documentation of solutions within standards defined by the enterprise architecture team
• Coordinates closely with solution engineering development teams and vendors to ensure that a coherent and consistent approach to implementation of the specified solution architecture is achieved
• Analyzes the technology domains and develops market assessments and roadmaps to inform and evolve strategic execution
• Ensures all solutions adhere to enterprise IT principles and utility industry standards and regulations
• A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Ten or more years of designing and developing IT architecture.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Signavio Certification (BPM, Process Mining)
• 5 years of experience in business process architecture, functional consulting, or process improvement (Techno-functional)
• Strong understanding with SAP ERP systems (e.g., S/4HANA) and enterprise functions (Work Management, Asset Management)
• Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills
• Strong knowledge of process mining concepts and performance indicators
  
  

Additional Information

• This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days.  Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California.  Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
