Southern Home Outlet in a vintage & antique mall that ships nationwide. We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Package Handler to join our team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our shipping processes. This position involves occasional heavy lifting, packaging, organizing packages, and the use of google sheets.
Responsibilities
- Package unique one of a kind vintage & antique pieces
- Sending invoices.
- Organize and maintain inventory within the warehouse, ensuring that all items are properly filed and stored.
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring that all outgoing packages are prepared for transport.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Capability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as needed.
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes is a plus.
- A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 29 per week
