Executive Assistant

About the Role:

This is a hands-on, dynamic role supporting the Owner of Southern Kitchen. You’ll serve as an extension of the Owner, helping manage day-to-day operations, scheduling, public relations meetings, errands, and social media content. The ideal candidate is highly organized, tech-savvy, and able to represent the brand with professionalism and discretion.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Represent the Owner professionally in meetings and communications
• Manage and maintain the Owner’s calendar, schedule, and to-do lists
• Coordinate and attend meetings with vendors, partners, and public relations contacts
• Run errands, manage logistics, and assist with both business and personal tasks
• Draft emails, prepare notes, and follow up on key action items
• Maintain organized digital and physical files
• Support social media content for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok
• Capture behind-the-scenes moments
• Create and post content in the brand voice
• Monitor engagement and respond as needed
• Help coordinate events, special projects, or travel plans

Qualifications

Qualifications (Required):

• Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills
• Able to manage tasks independently and maintain confidentiality
• Proficient with Google Workspace (Calendar, Gmail, Drive) or Microsoft Office
• Comfortable using and managing social media (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok)
• Reliable transportation and availability to run local errands

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in hospitality, restaurant, creative, or lifestyle industries
• Familiarity with Canva or simple content creation/editing tools
• Previous experience supporting a business owner or executive
• Flexible availability for occasional evening or weekend needs
