One year certificate from college or technical school; or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Above average written and oral communication skills also required. Significant product knowledge.
Technical Skills
This position comes into contact with a wide variety of direct reports, bank employees, current and prospective customers in addition to representing the Bank to the public. The position must weigh what is in the best interests of the Bank as compared to the other parties involved in their decision-making process.
These contacts require the individual to be skilled in a variety of interpersonal and business settings. Empathetic listening skills, problem solving skills along with the ability to interact with a broad range of people in a helpful approach is required. Treating all people with dignity and respect is expected.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Include The Following
- Department/Project Management
- Tracking marketing projects, individually or as part of a team
- Managing print products, including creation, ordering, and distribution to branches
- Participating in marketing department brainstorming sessions and weekly Teams meetings
- Meeting with vendors or prospective vendors along with or in the absence of the Marketing Manager
- Managing the marketing department's role in New Employee Onboarding (NEO), including taking headshots and ordering, preparing, and delivering NEO boxes
- Ordering business cards and name blocks
- Events
- Coordinating with vendors, sponsors, or branches regarding event-specific needs under the direction of the Marketing Manager
- Assisting in research and purchase of "one-time" donation items for community fundraisers or special events under the direction of the Marketing Manager
- Assisting with setup and teardown of internal Bank events
- Inventory Management
- Reviewing with the Marketing Manager the monthly logo merchandise inventory report from Impact Solutions and reordering merchandise, as needed
- Maintaining the logo merchandise inventory storage room in an organized manner
- Maintaining gift basket supplies
- Maintaining and monitoring print item inventory in an organized manner, including print items from Third Party Vendors
- Website
- Assisting with updating and maintenance of the Bank's website, as needed or assigned
- Intranet
- Assisting with updating and maintenance of Southern Connect, the Bank-wide intranet platform
- Adding new employee photos and bios
- Managing or assisting with clearing Southern Connect tickets
- Social Media
- Assisting in maintenance of the Bank's social media platforms, as needed or assigned
- Office Management
- Maintaining an organized and clean office
- Maintaining inventory and ordering as necessary office and printing supplies through Southern Connect
- Monitoring department mailbox regularly
- Assisting people who stop by the office (public and employees)
