The opportunity
Southern New Hampshire University is currently seeking a student worker as an office assistant for our campus location for the 2025-2026 School Year. Under the supervision of the Associate Director of Education Licensure, this person aids the Office of Educator Preparation. The candidate serves as a student-facing office assistant, and completes various projects as needed.
Work hours fall typically Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm with flexibility to meet business demands as needed. 15-20 hours a week.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet students and faculty and be a friendly and welcoming presence to answer questions or relay messages to the OEP Team
- Prepare and update help documents for Gateway testing requirements and assist students with testing registration
- Manage the testing preparation materials to support Pearson testing
- Assist education students with Anthology Portfolio, state required testing, and applying for Gateways
- Assist with presentations to courses in regard to; OEP, Gateways, Anthology, State EIS Account, etc.
- Complete Word/Excel/PowerPoint projects as assigned by the OEP Team
- Make copies, file, scan, and organize materials
- Assist with the preparation and coordination of events
- Mentor trainings, board meetings, student teacher events, etc.
- General office upkeep and organization
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- Enrollment in an Undergraduate or Graduate Day program at SNHU
- Experience and understanding of the education programs, Anthology and licensure gateways
- Work study part of financial aid package
- Students with work study may be prioritized
- Must have a high school diploma
- Detail orientated and ability to manage time and multiple projects
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office Products including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to make creative flyers and invitations
- Prior customer service and/or office work experience
- Enrolled in an Education Program and familiar with Gateway requirements

Compensation
The hourly pay range for this position is $12.00 - $15.00.
