What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Career Services position at Southern Technical College?
The Director of Career Services is responsible and accountable for the overall success of the employment of graduates through the execution of career services standards of operation, achievement of unit goals, and, when applicable, management of department personnel to achieve individual goals.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree required or;
- Associate’s Degree with minimum 3 years direct experience
- Leadership of a career services department within proprietary education or other industry preferred.
- Recruiting/staffing skills, knowledge and techniques
- Strong leadership skills
- Ability to set and achieve outcomes based performance goals
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; excellent presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects; Strong analytical skills
- Business development skills
