Job Description: Working in collaboration with HIT Contractor and Technology Committee, the IT Support Tech 2 is responsible for managing user access, network security process management, maintaining IT resources and information systems.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Works in conjunction with SCCP’s network, servers, information systems, and IT resources.
- Supports the management of user access to SCCP’s network, servers, information systems, IT resources, and physical assets.
- Supports the implementation, monitoring, and auditing of SCCP’s IT-related internal controls, across departments, programs, and Internal Control Owners.
- Works with Internal Control Owners to support the testing of IT-related internal controls.
- Manages SCCP’s ticketing system for addressing IT issues.
- Performs basic problem solving and assistance on various software applications and hardware systems for SCCP employees.
- Performs routine IT technical assistance and maintenance duties.
- Supports the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computers, workstations and/or other related equipment and devices.
- Assists in maintaining and updating data systems.
- Maintains and inventory/log of all SCCP IT resources/assets in compliance with SCCP policies.
- Supports proper upkeep of IT systems.
- Manages SCCP’s Change Management Process in conjunction with the Technology Committee and HIT Vendor.
- Supports SCCP’s Risk Management Program.
- Assists with the implementation of new technology projects with moderate scope and impact.
- Monitors employee and contractor compliance with SCCP policies.
- Provides individual instruction and/or training to employees on new or updated technologies and policies.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
- Helps promote a company culture that encourages top performance and high morale.
- Produces reports as required.
- Follows all Policies and Procedures of SCCP.
- Compliant with Performance Goals / Contract Deliverables.
- Participates in all SCCP mandatory and CMS regulatory training.
- Attends all staff meetings – in person or telephonic (if unable to attend, responsible for knowledge of content).
- Abide by principles and laws related to confidentiality.
- Demonstrate respect for individual diversity (culture, ethnicity, gender, race, religion, age, economic status).
- Interact with staff to optimize workflow efficiency.
- Other duties as assigned by Direct Report.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.
- Specialty licensure/certification related to IT.
- At least 2 year experience as IT Support Tech.
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Knowledge of a wide range of computer systems software, applications, and hardware.
- Ability to perform routine preventive maintenance on systems software, applications, hardware, networking, and communications.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to determine computer problems and to coordinate hardware, software, and/or network solutions.
- Ability to communicate technical guidance and instruction to SCCP IT employees and contractors.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Ability to interact with health care professionals in a professional manner.
- Computer Literate – Word, Google Doc and Excel.
- Able to multi-task, manage time and set priorities.
- Able to remain coachable and teachable at all times.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
