Title: Food and Beverage Manager at Southpointe Golf Club
Position Summary:
We are looking for a professional food and beverage manager to be responsible for managing all F&B operations and for delivering an excellent guest experience. The successful candidate will be able to forecast, plan and manage all F&B orders, staff and financials. The goal is to maximize sales and revenue through customer satisfaction and employee engagement and keep costs (labor and cost of goods sold). Must be willing to work nights, weekends and holidays.
Highlighted Responsibilities:
- Manage all F&B and day-to-day operations within budgeted guidelines and to the highest standards
- Preserve excellent levels of internal and external customer service
- Design exceptional menus, purchase goods and continuously make necessary improvements
- Lead F&B team by attracting, recruiting, training and appraising talented personnel
- Meet with F&B manager(s) daily to determine priorities for the day
- Ensures a high standard of sanitation, cleanliness, and safety are maintained throughout work areas
- Attend communication meetings regularl
- Inspecting of banqueting rooms daily for cleanliness and proper set up of rooms.
Requirements:
- Three years of proven food and beverage management experience
- Organization and attention to detail, a positive attitude, and ability to communicate effectively to staff
- Communication and leadership skills
- Up to date with food and beverages trends and best practices
- Guest-oriented and service-minded
Experience/Background/Knowledge:
- Previous management experience in the food and beverage industry
- Knowledge of fine dining preferred
- Proven leadership experience is mandatory
Physical Requirements: The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Reports to: Director of Member Dining Services
Manages: A la Carte staff and Banquet Staff
