What are the responsibilities and job description for the WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE position at Southtown Refrigeration?
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Operate a forklift to move pallets and equipment
- Package and ship outgoing freight
- Receive and inspect incoming freight
- Verify incoming freight orders with assigned PO numbers
- Keep warehouse clean and organized
- Scrap old equipment
- Deliver parts to job sites
- Deliver and pick up equipment
- Maintain inventory counts
- Possible in field experience with HVAC/R Service Technicians
- Knowledge of the Twin Cities area
- Drive big truck with trailer as needed
- Perform other allied duties as assigned by supervisor.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Reports to the shop manager
- Ability to do essential functions
- Current drivers license
- DOT health card
- Ability to operate forklift/scissor lift with training
- Ability to lift up to 100lbs
- Basic computer skills knowledge
- Ability to operate hand power tools
