Description
The Lobby Support position provides superior and quality customer service by providing customers with efficient and accurate transaction processing. The candidate for this position will be required to work Monday thru Friday and some Saturdays. This position is primarily responsible for filling in for absences at the Odessa and Midland branches.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Operates a teller's window to serve the bank's customers by:
- Accepting retail and/or commercial deposits, verifying cash and endorsements and giving customers their receipts.
- Identifying customers and cashing checks, or referring customers to an officer for authorization to cash checks.
- Accepting savings deposits and withdrawals, verifying signatures.
- Providing additional customer services including Cashiers Checks, Personal Money Orders, etc.
- Balances cash daily.
- Accepting payments for all loans.
- May be responsible for bank opening/closing.
- Makes concentrated effort to solve customer problems.
- Follows teller over/short policy.
- Promote and maintain positive relations with all contacts, customers and potential customers
- Comply with all department and company policies and procedures.
- Contribute to the fulfillment of department and company objectives and goals.
Qualifications
- Cash handling experience strongly preferred.
- Must have reliable transportation in order to fill absences at the different locations in Odessa and Midland.
