Overview:
Under the direction of the Human Resource Manager the general function of the Recruiter is to coordinate and execute the hiring and selection of open positions within the organization. The Recruiter will also have the responsibility for the administrative tasks within recruiting, hiring and onboarding.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinates and executes all recruiting efforts including posting job openings, attending career/job fairs, scheduling and conducting interviews, and administering pre-employment testing.
- Promoting the company’s reputation and attractiveness as a good employment opportunity.
- Conducts new employee orientation, utilizes orientation checklist to assure all aspects have been covered and completed.
- Assures completion of necessary new hire paperwork for onboarding.
- Assures completion of appointment fingerprint scheduling, paperwork and compliance with TDPS for new hires.
- Maintain accurate records scheduled appointments
- Assists Department Heads and Managers in identifying hiring needs.
- Collaborating with Department Heads and Managers to compile a consistent list of requirements.
- Providing recruitment reports to manager.
- Assists with other special projects as requested by Manager.
Qualifications:
- 1 year of recruitment experience.
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, including good grammar, and the ability to present information and respond to questions in a group setting.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate in situations requiring sensitivity and tact.
- Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality with personnel and sensitive documents.
- Possess high level of attention to detail, strong time management and organizational skills.
- The ability to conduct different types of interviews
- The ability to design and implement recruiting strategies
- Good decision making skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to pass an employment background check & a valid drivers license.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Comments:
Position requires the ability to work before and/or after normal business hours. Position may require overnight travel.
