What are the responsibilities and job description for the Certified Nurses Aide (CNA) (FULL TIME) position at Southwest Health System, Inc.?
Functions on a nursing care team with a staff nurse as the team leader by carrying out the basic patient care in accordance with the philosophy, objectives, standards of care, procedures of the hospital, and plan of care established by the registered nurse. Indirect patient care activities focus on maintaining the environment in which patient care is delivered. Requires state certification.
Regulatory Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Graduate of an accredited CNA program.
- Current state Certified Nursing Assistant certification, within state of Colorado.
- Current BLS certification.
Language Skills:
- Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Additional languages preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills.
Skills:
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Strong communication skills.

As a condition of employment by Southwest Health System (SHS), you will be required to authorize SHS to conduct a background check prior to your commencing work at SHS, which includes a criminal investigation and verification of citizenship/immigration status, employment history, and education.
