What are the responsibilities and job description for the Teller position at Southwest Heritage Credit Union?
Job Summary : This is an entry level operations position that is responsible for member service. It is your responsibility to ensure member's transactions are done accurately and courteously.
You will also be responsible to meet and exceed the member's needs and expectations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Receiving checks and cash for deposit, verifying amount and endorsements.
- Entering member's transactions into the computer to record transaction and issue computer generated receipts.
- Compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures.
- Processing transactions received through night drop and mail.
- Verification of bank deposits for daily work.
- Balance and close teller work and all vault activity.
- Greeting members courteously, timely and accurately.
- Explain, promote and sell credit union products and services.
- Development of working knowledge of all credit union products and services.
Interpersonal Skills
Professionalism, tact and diplomacy are essential elements of the job. Must be able to collaborate. Social Skills. Problem solving.
