What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laborer position at Southwest Mobile Storage Inc?
Your day could include:
- grinding
- Painting
- Sweeping and hosing
- Replacing tile or epoxy flooring
- Repairing drywall holes
- Cleaning windows, blinds, doors, floors, and walls
- Minor welding
You must be able to lift 40 pounds, work outside, be reliable, assemble/disassemble structures. You will need knowledge of basic hand tools and power tools including grinding and saw cutting.
We give you a reliable schedule Mondays through Fridays with an occasional Saturday sprinkled in the mix. This position comes with competitive compensation, benefits, and opportunities for overtime. Required Education and Experience:
- 0-2 years’ experience with general labor and maintenance repairs
- High School Diploma or GED
- We encourage and love to hire veterans! Military experience welcome!
- Welding experience a plus! 25T Forklift experience a plus!
- This job requires someone that wants to work hard, and all work is outside in all conditions throughout the year.
- You will be required to do grinding on containers.
