SWTDT’s road and range training is conducted in modern equipment using multiple transmissions, as well as empty and loaded dry van and flatbed trailers. The role of Admission Representative has the following accountabilities:
· Welcomes students by actively participating in all steps of the enrollment process (required paperwork, qualifications, campus tours, and obtaining schedules)
· Provides accurate information relative to the program
- Enroll students in compliance with Admissions policies and procedures
· Utilize good use of time by making all required phone calls, follow-ups, generating referrals and other daily activities in pursuit of departmental objectives
· Consistently performs the activities that support individual and overall team admissions processes by following policies and procedures
· Provides feedback to department managers on how to improve the overall quality and efficiency of the admissions department
- Assist the Campus Director with marketing and sales strategies
- Assess English proficiency during admissions
- Track marketing and sales activities and produce reports as required
- Represent the school in career fairs, job fairs, and other similar activities
- Regular and reliable attendance
· Explore options for scholarships or other tuition funding from agencies as appropriate
· Maintaining correspondence with applicants and appropriate records and files
· Performs other duties as assigned by the Campus Director
Skills/Competencies/Qualifications:
· The Admissions Representative should be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications
· Bi-lingual (Spanish) a plus
· Upbeat, articulate, and a team player
· Be comfortable with a pay structure that is hourly plus commission
· Must be able to maintain a professional and friendly demeanor and represent the company in a professional manner with all customers, personnel, vendors, and students
· Prior sales experience required
· The Admissions Representative must be able to use a personal computer and other office equipment and work in an environment that can be fast paced
Work Hours: Forty per week but may vary daily, and some evening and weekend hours may be required.
Comprehensive benefits package and compensation:
Base hourly wage plus commission with realistic earning potential from $45,000- $75,000 / year (average first year earnings $50-$60k).
