Southwestern Behavioral Healthcare is adding to ourteam of Mobile Crisis Team Respondersin hopes of branching out and reaching more people in need in our community. We want to be the bridge that carries those in crisis to recovery. This rewarding position will be a part of our24/7/365 mobile crisis team that manages psychiatric crisis in our community. Hours for this shift are from 5:00p.m. - 1:00a.m.

WHAT IS THIS POSITION RESPONSIBLE FOR?
- Respond to crisis phone calls, walk-ins on-site, and provide on-site risk assessments within Vanderburgh County.
- Complete comprehensive risk assessment, consult with supervisor and/or psychiatrist on-call for recommendations.
- Provide follow-up and care coordination for clients served.
- Mobile Crisis Team will provide a presence on-site at a specialized crisis shelter to monitor, engage, and coordinate referrals for participants.
WHAT'S REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION?
- Bachelor degree in Social Work or a related field of study.
- Experience working with mental health, addiction, and homeless population preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency with interpersonal and writing skills.
- Commitment to improving access of mental health services in our community.
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
- Candidates must obtain and maintain crisis intervention and verbal de-escalation training.
- Must have valid driver's license and qualify for Company's vehicle liability insurance.
- Candidates must pass required background checks including county/state checks, sex offender registry check, and drug screen.
