What are the responsibilities and job description for the MIPS and ACO Reporting Specialist, Quality Department position at Southwestern Vermont Health Care?
The MIPS and ACO Reporting Specialist work as the liaison between the Medical Group, federal quality reporting agencies and partners in advancement payments models to ensure reporting and success across initiatives. This position runs reports in various systems, primarily in EMR, verifying the accuracy of information and compiling data for presentation to others. They use data from reports to provide information and help direct opportunities for improvement related to meeting initiatives, workflows, and efficiencies. They work collaboratively with the information systems department, actin as a liaison and helping to identify any issues related to EMR system, including integrity and dependability, as well as implementation of software, reporting, ect. Collaborates with staff and providers within the organization to facilitate handoffs and care across the coninum and ensure a seamless experience for the patient population as it relates to our EMR.
Qualifications: High School diploma and additional clinical or medical office related education or information systems education preferred. Minimum of 5 years; experience in the medical setting required. Previous work experience with a variety of software systems are required. Informatics education or training preferred. Medical office or clinical certification or licensure preferred.
