SP Industries is expanding our team and have immediate openings for a Quality Inspector!


Primary Responsibilities

  • Capable of visual glass inspections according to drawing guidelines and or specifications.
  • Capable of checking dimensional tolerances according to specifications.
  • Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and written work documents.
  • Ability to set-up, use and maintain measuring and visual equipment and gauges pertaining to department.
  • Complete department related paperwork.
  • Advise supervision when equipment is in need of repair or supplies are low.
  • Advise supervision when any out of standard condition occurs.
  • Keep work area clean and orderly.
  • Must observe all precautions, rules and regulations related to environmental, health and safety manners (i.e., PPE, properly disposing of waste, etc.).
  • Must maintain quality and production standards.

To perform this job successfully, an individual should possess the minimum qualifications cited.

Education, Experience, and Work Skills


  • Prior experience working in a team oriented environment.
  • 2-5 years of glass experience.
  • Appropriate hand and eye coordination.
  • Able to read blueprints and drawings.
  • Able to read and speak English.

  • The shop is heated when required but many areas are not air-conditioned.
