Required :
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 5 years of planning experience in at least one information related area : Public Affairs (PA), Information Operations (IO), Key Leader Engagements (KLE), or Civil Affairs (CA)
- Active DoD Secret clearance

Responsibilities
The successful candidate will have experience and expertise supporting communications planning and strategy for senior leaders, preferably at a Geographic Combatant Command. Will be dedicated to supporting U.S. Central Command Plans Directorate onsite at MacDill AFB. Within the Plans directorate the planner will provide subject matter expertise in development of communications strategies and plans, along with updating and coordinating Commander's Communication Strategy annexes for contingency plans, operations plans, and operations orders. The planner will also provide subject matter expertise supporting Key Leader Engagement including recommendations in the design of tools, data management practices, and strategic messaging content as appropriate. Will provide coordination on Freedom of Information Act and Mandatory Declassification Review response. The Communications Planner will need to operate in a high-stress dynamic environment and be able to clearly articulate ideas in written and verbal forms both individually and as part of a team (Joint Planning Team / Integrated Planning Team) to ensure coordination across the command, the Joint Staff, and the interagency to support synchronization with U.S. Government strategic messaging.
