Self Storage Property Maintenance (Part-Time)

About the Role
SpaceVault Self-Storage is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Property Maintenance Specialist to serve as our boots-on-the-ground presence at our Lafayette facility.
This property is professionally managed remotely, and we need someone local who can keep eyes on the property, handle light repairs, and ensure everything stays clean, safe, and operational. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys independent work, takes pride in a well-kept property, and is looking for steady, low-hour part-time work. If you're interested in learning the storage business, even better.
What You’ll Do
- Perform move-out checks and basic unit inspections
- Conduct regular unit sweeps and property walk-throughs
- Report damage, maintenance needs, or safety concerns promptly
- Handle light repairs (doors, latches, hinges, signage, minor fixes)
- Keep the facility clean, orderly, and presentable
- Serve as our on-site eyes and ears—letting us know when something needs attention
