What are the responsibilities and job description for the Stock Plan Administrator position at SpaceX?

STOCK PLAN ADMINISTRATOR
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Administer SpaceX’s equity-based incentive compensation including stock options, restricted stock units (RSUs), employee stock purchase plan (ESPP), and other equity-based incentive compensation tools
- Process option grants, exercises and cancellations, restricted stock unit grants and releases and ESPP purchases
- Maintain the online equity administration portal and ensure accuracy at all times
- Prepare equity-related communications and online training materials
- Conduct participant training sessions on equity compensation and use of the online portal
- Assist in calculation of stock based compensation expense
- Assist with external audits by providing supporting records and documentation
- Partner with payroll to prepare and distribute year-end statements of taxable income, W-2 and 1099-B income calculations and tax filings related to equity transactions
- Provide superior customer service to equity plan participants of all levels
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2 years of experience in stock plan administration
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelors’ degree in business, finance, accounting, economics, mathematics, or a similar field
- Experience with Solium Shareworks
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Familiarity with FAS 123(R) (ASC 718) and tax implications of equity compensation
- CEP certification
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Willing to travel 10% of the time, if needed
