Spark Rehab Wellness is a busy neurological rehabilitation clinic in Bend, OR. We provide physical and occupational therapy services to people with neurological conditions and an older adult population.
We are looking to hire a Clinic Aide to assist PTs and OTs with treatments and exercises. Previous experience is preferred but not required. Our ideal candidate is compassionate, communicates well, and is interested in providing a great patient experience.
Clinic Aide Job Responsibilities:
- Supports therapy care delivery by preparing treatment area, patient, equipment, and materials, and performs procedures under the supervision of a physical or occupational therapist.
- Prepares treatment room for patient by following prescribed procedures and protocols.
- Welcomes patients to clinic and checks patients in when receptionist is unavailable.
- Assists in treatment by helping patients onto exercise equipment, monitoring performance, instructing in prescribed exercises and strengthening techniques as supervised by physical or occupational therapist.
- Maintains patient confidentiality.
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by sterilizing and delivering equipment and supplies to treatment area, positioning equipment for therapist access, and positioning patient on equipment.
- Ensures operation of therapy equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer’s instructions, troubleshooting malfunctioning equipment, and calling for repairs.
- Maintains therapy supply inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing, and expediting orders for supplies, and verifying receipt of supplies.
- Assists patients with scheduling, answers phones when receptionist is unavailable.
Work Hours & Benefits This is a part-time position, 10-15 hours per week. On-the-job, paid training provided. We are looking for a candidate who is available Tuesday - Friday from 8 am - 11 am/noon. Salary range is $16-18/hour DOE.
