Director, Growth Marketing Job Summary:
Sparks Group has partnered with an information security services company in Dallas, TX to find a strategic, hands-on Director, Growth Marketing to scale their demand generation efforts. This role is ideal for a marketing professional with a deep understanding of multi-channel growth strategies, sales enablement, and full-funnel performance marketing in the cyber security and related services industry. We’re looking for someone to play a pivotal role in driving pipeline growth and marketing innovation.
Director, Growth Marketing Responsibilities:
- Own the development and execution of the growth marketing strategy with a core focus on demand generation, including messaging frameworks, and creative briefs that align with company goals and drive measurable outcomes.
- Maintain awareness of global cybersecurity trends, risks, and market challenges, identifying messaging and content narratives to articulate the company’s perspectives and solutions related to those trends, risks, and challenges.
- Manage end-to-end campaign execution across operations, creative, and analytics teams to ensure on time and accurate launches.
- Proactively suggest ways to collaborate with and leverage external partners and technology providers to drive joint market opportunities.
- Manage annual and quarterly budget planning, resource allocation, and ongoing process improvements for growth marketing.
- Work closely with internal subject matter experts to develop relevant and publishable thought leadership content.
- Oversee digital content and campaigns (organic and paid) that leverage company-wide efforts to effectively reach C-Suite, security and risk-focused target audiences, lead development and distribution of social media content and campaigns, including defining and tracking KPIs.
- Tailor cyber security marketing content to reach a global audience and specifically the Dallas-Fort Worth market.
- Execute demand generation programs across paid digital channels (LinkedIn, Google, Meta, X) that consistently deliver measurable pipeline and revenue outcomes.
- Act as a trusted strategic advisor to executive stakeholders, aligning marketing programs to sales objectives and business goals.
- Support the Chief Revenue Officer in driving sales enablement and marketing operations, including messaging, campaigns, SEO strategy, and CRM/email automation.
- Own campaign reporting and performance optimization to track ROI and uncover new growth opportunities.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, delivery, and sales teams to ensure cohesive message and scalable execution.
Director, Growth Marketing Qualifications:
- BA/BS Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
- Must be a US Citizen capable of obtaining a security clearance.
- 6 years of experience in B2B marketing, with a strong focus on demand generation and digital strategy.
- Strong understanding of the cybersecurity landscape.
- Consulting or professional services industry experience a plus.
- Expertise in full-funnel growth strategies, account-based marketing, and performance-driven campaign management.
- Deep fluency in marketing and sales tech stacks, including HubSpot, Salesforce, Google Analytics, SEMrush, LinkedIn Ads Manager, Sales Navigator, and others.
- Demonstrated success managing large marketing budgets and optimizing campaigns for pipeline velocity and ROI.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; comfortable interfacing with executives and cross-functional teams.
- Experience leading corporate brand initiatives.
- Ability to proactively conceive and suggest new approaches and solutions, influence senior leaders on key strategic issues.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, multi-tasking and prioritizing as needed
- Experience of working with 3rd party providers and external agencies & vendors.
