Job Summary / Company : Our client, a large government contractor in San Antonio, TX is seeking an experienced Subcontract Manager to lead subcontracting operations for a small to medium sized team. Reporting to a Subcontracts Portfolio Leader, the Subcontract Manager will focus on managing subcontract staff, ensuring compliance with federal regulations, and maintaining current and compliant templates and procedures in accordance with CPSR and internal practices. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, knowledge of the FAR, and strong independent problem-solving skills. Responsibilities : Work independently with little direction and with understanding of when to escalate concerns Interact with all levels of business, compliance, and other subcontract personnel, as needed Apply knowledge of contracting types, such as T&M, FFP, and CPFF and FAR / DFARS and Public Law requirements to subcontract terms May serve as Subject Matter Expert in specific areas of subcontract management Qualifications / Background Profile : U.S .Citizenship Requirement Bachelors Degree (required) Minimum7yearsofSubcontractingexperienceinaFederalGovernment contracting environment CPSR experience Detail-oriented, organized, and flexible Able to set priorities and de-conflict multiple demands Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communications kills
