Controller – Manufacturing

Location: East of Athens, GA (Approximately 25 minutes) | 100% On-site
Salary: $115,000 – $130,000, commensurate with experience

Our client, a well-established manufacturer, is seeking a hands-on Controller to lead financial operations at their facility located about 25 minutes east of Athens, GA. This is a high-impact leadership role ideal for an experienced accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced, production-driven environment. You’ll oversee day-to-day accounting, manage a small team, and contribute directly to strategic financial decisions. Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing accounting or controller role

• Supervisory or team leadership experience

• Strong understanding of cost accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting

• Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel

Desired Qualifications:

• CPA or CMA certification preferred

• Experience with process improvements or system transitions

• Strong communication, analytical, and leadership skills

• Ability to work independently and thrive in a results-oriented setting
