Responsibilities :
- Review corporation, partnership, individual, and other related tax returns and workpapers for accuracy and completeness
- Engage in tax planning, business planning, and consulting by analyzing proposed transactions and determining tax risk and benefits
- Collaborate with various Practice Group team members to provide business solutions to clients
- Document positions taken on complex tax issues using written communication for inclusion in online Tax Resource Library
- Undertake tax research of authoritative and non-authoritative sources using a variety of research platforms
- Manage and mentor tax staff
- Collaborate with various Practice Group team members to provide solutions to complex tax situations
- Use experience and expertise to provide thought leadership and meaningful recommendations for a broad scope of complicated issues
- Develop strong, long-term relationships with clients
- Assist Principals in proposals for prospective clients
- Participate in ongoing efforts to provide current and timely education to all levels of staff
- Understand products and services and how to implement them to promote client growth and retention
- Act as an effective spokesperson for networking and recruiting events
- Provide thorough and timely client service, meeting or exceeding client expectations
