Responsibilities :

• Review corporation, partnership, individual, and other related tax returns and workpapers for accuracy and completeness
• Engage in tax planning, business planning, and consulting by analyzing proposed transactions and determining tax risk and benefits
• Collaborate with various Practice Group team members to provide business solutions to clients
• Document positions taken on complex tax issues using written communication for inclusion in online Tax Resource Library
• Undertake tax research of authoritative and non-authoritative sources using a variety of research platforms
• Manage and mentor tax staff
• Collaborate with various Practice Group team members to provide solutions to complex tax situations
• Use experience and expertise to provide thought leadership and meaningful recommendations for a broad scope of complicated issues
• Develop strong, long-term relationships with clients
• Assist Principals in proposals for prospective clients
• Participate in ongoing efforts to provide current and timely education to all levels of staff
• Understand products and services and how to implement them to promote client growth and retention
• Act as an effective spokesperson for networking and recruiting events
• Provide thorough and timely client service, meeting or exceeding client expectations
