What are the responsibilities and job description for the Skills Coach position at Special Education Homeschool Program?
P/T Skills Coach for disabled young adult. The position involves joining a team of other Skills Coaches to provide support; including facilitation of online continuing ed curriculum, assistive technology, augmentative communication, sensory motor activities, ADL's, recreational experiences, and help with therapies. Classroom space with technology and therapy room with exercise and sensory equipment. The Skills Coach follows existing programs with support from a program manager and therapist. All levels of experience will be considered, and training provided. A desire to make a difference and work with someone who has unique challenges. The ability to connect, have fun, and a good rapport is important. The hours are flexible and can be scheduled around other commitments like school or another job.
