Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the LTAC setting. You will be responsible for conducting patient assessments, developing care plans, and ensuring the implementation of appropriate medical interventions.
Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to evaluate health status and identify nursing needs.
- Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans based on patient assessments and medical history.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including IV insertion and management.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure effective discharge planning.
- Monitor patients' progress and respond to changes in their condition promptly.
- Document all nursing interventions accurately in compliance with ICD-10 coding standards.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management and care procedures.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment while adhering to infection control protocols.
Requirements
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Experience in a inpatient setting is preferred.
- Strong skills in patient assessment, medical-surgical nursing.
- Ability to perform IV insertion competently.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
