We are seeking a dedicated Legal Assistant with experience in auto accident cases and medical claims to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will assist attorneys in handling personal injury and medical-related legal matters, ensuring smooth case management, document preparation, and client communication.

Responsibilities :

  • Assist in preparing and filing legal documents related to auto accident cases, medical claims, and insurance disputes.
  • Gather and organize medical records, police reports, and accident documentation to support legal claims.
  • Communicate with clients, medical providers, and insurance companies to obtain necessary information.
  • Schedule depositions, hearings, and court appointments while maintaining attorney calendars.
  • Conduct legal research on personal injury laws, insurance policies, and relevant case precedents.
  • Draft correspondence, demand letters, and settlement agreements.
  • Ensure compliance with legal procedures and maintain confidentiality of case files.
  • Assist attorneys in trial preparation, including exhibit organization and case summaries.

Qualifications :

  • Previous experience as a Legal Assistant, Paralegal, or similar role in auto accident or personal injury law .
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance claims, and accident investigation procedures .
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, legal research databases, and case management software .
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for liaising with clients and legal professionals.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment .
  • Paralegal certification or legal studies background is a plus.
