Program Director

Location: Bridgewater, MA. Position is located within Old Colony Correctional Center (OCCC Medium, OCCC Minimum, Pondville Correctional Center and MCI Norfolk, and the Massachusetts Treatment Center).This position will be for our General Population Services program.

Pay rate : $67,000 annually

Schedule : Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm. May need to work an evening shift depending on program needs

Qualifications

• LADC, CADC, or actively pursuing licensure.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Criminal Justice, Human Services, Education, Counseling or closely related field.
• Minimum of two years of supervisory experience.
• Corrections experience preferred.
  
  

The Program Director Is Responsible For

• Managing the Re-Entry and General Population Services Programs within guidelines per Massachusetts Department of Corrections contract specifications
• Ensuring assigned staff comply with Spectrum Health Systems and the Massachusetts Department of Correction (DOC) policies/procedures and standards.
• Organizing, implementing, and supervising the program design as defined by the program manual.
• Ensuring compliance with on-going analysis and use of the quality assurance system as defined by the State Director.
• Working with the State Director/Regional Director to formulate corrective action plans when necessary.
• Identifying staff development needs and opportunities.
• Staff scheduling to ensure consistent program coverage.
