Are you an experienced Echocardiography Technician looking to make a difference? The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a potential Medical Instrument Technician (Echo Tech) to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging and provide exceptional care to our veterans.

Key Responsibilities:
🔹 Perform high-quality echocardiographic imaging, including stress and transesophageal echocardiography🔹 Assess cardiac function using Doppler imaging and other ultrasound techniques🔹 Administer contrast agents for enhanced imaging results🔹 Monitor patient condition during procedures and assist with care coordination🔹 Maintain, calibrate, and operate specialized cardiology lab equipment🔹 Accurately document assessments and outcomes in electronic records
Qualifications:
✔️ Highly Preferred: Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certification✔️ Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications preferred✔️ Strong attention to detail and ability to recognize cardiac abnormalities✔️ Experience with cardiac ultrasound equipment and electronic medical records
