Spencer Ogden is looking for a Finance Recruiter to join our high-performing New York office. This is a full-desk role focused on placing finance professionals into permanent roles across the renewable energy, infrastructure, and sustainability sectors.

🔹 What You’ll Be Doing
Client Development & Account Management
- Partner with CFOs, Heads of Finance, and hiring managers across clean energy, infrastructure, and private equity-backed platforms
- Pitch permanent recruitment solutions and build out your own portfolio of repeat clients
- Negotiate placement fees, retainers, and exclusive agreements
Finance Candidate Sourcing & Placement
- Recruit mid-to-senior finance professionals (FP&A, Corporate Finance, Project Finance, M&A, Asset Management, Treasury, etc.)
- Run the full recruitment cycle: sourcing, interviewing, shortlisting, offer management, and post-placement support
- Deliver best-in-class candidate experience and maintain high placement retention
Market Specialization
- Own your vertical and become a go-to expert in finance within renewables/infrastructure
- Track trends in clean energy investment, funding rounds, and infrastructure buildouts
- Provide market insight and salary benchmarking to clients and candidates
