The Spencerport School District is currently accepting applications for an Office Clerk III (10 months).
Candidates must be eligible for appointment as Office Clerk III, as per the rules and regulations of the Monroe County Department of Human Resources and Civil Service.
Job Description: This position processes daily student attendance including data entry and reporting; interacting with students, parents/guardians and staff.
Required Credentials: Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma plus EITHER:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills,
Highly skilled in multiple computer applications,
Highly organized with exemplary time management skills.
Work Year: 10-month assignment; 7.5 hours per day
Salary/Benefits: $16.21 - $18.64 per hour, based upon previous experience; comprehensive benefits package; sick, family, personal, paid holidays, NAOEP Professional Standards Program payments and NYS pension.

- Successful completion of at least thirty (30) credit hours from a college or university; OR,
- One (1) year paid full-time or its part-time equivalent office clerical or secretarial experience*; OR,
- An equivalent combination of education and experience as defined by the limits of (A) and (B) above.
- Experience as a Teller, Cashier or Sales Clerk will not be considered appropriate experience for the purposes of these minimum qualifications.
