Warehouse General Labor Associate

This position consists of general labor/warehouse job functions:

• Taking customer documentation to determine items required, assembling custom orders, aiding in processing orders, sorting merchandise, maintaining supplies, verifying inventory.
• Move freight, stock, or other materials to and from storage or production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, ships, or containers, by hand or forklift.
• Attach identifying tags to containers or mark them with identifying information.
• Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments or material or equipment needs.
• Must be able to load and unload merchandise neatly in trailer or pallet by hand or forklift.
• Candidates must be dependable, punctual & able to demonstrate good work habits.
• Work on daily activities as assigned by the Shop Manager.
• Drives delivery vehicle to transport parts to customers, including the loading and unloading of parts.
• Picks up returns and parts from customers.
• Maintains a safe driving and working environment, including PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
• Follows all company policies, procedures, dress code and management direction, including all fleet and safety policies
• Maintains a safe, clean, and well-organized workspace.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Bilingual is a PLUS!

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to safely and accurately operate all measuring and production equipment.
• Ability to work independently, and with coworkers.
• Must perform other work as required or requested.
• Ability to understand written and oral communication.
• Knowledge of Forklift operation preferred.
• Bilingual preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.

Qualifications

• Texas Driver's License (Required)
• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
• Knowledge of Forklift operation.
• Driving: Clean driving record
• Must pass employment background check and drug screening
• Ability to lift load and deliver merchandise
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Excellent communication and decision-making skills
• Attention to detail and focus on accuracy.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work Mon-Friday 8AM to 5:30PM and every other Saturday from 9AM to 2PM if required.
• Must successfully complete 90-day probationary period.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $12.50 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
